Heartware Support Our Pioneers Programme (HWSOP) was first introduced in the year 2014, seeking to empower youth to serve the needs of the elderly through home visitations, activities and outings. The programme encourages youth to take ownership to bridge the inter-generational divide and promote active aging among the elderly, fostering tighter bonds with our pioneer generation.

Youths will be reaching out to seniors who are less mobile and less socially active to receive guidance on important digital skills to enhance their day-to-day lives at the convenience of the senior house. At the same time, the programme hope to empower them to live out their sunset years with hope and optimism.

HWSOP is looking for volunteers to reach out to the elderly at Jalan Kukoh, Lengkok Bahru, Pasir Ris, Taman Jurong, Tanjong Pagar, Yishun & potential new locations. Volunteers will engage the seniors bi-weekly on a Saturday’s morning through home visitations, activities and outings from April 2024 to March 2025.
